Park Hyatt Washington DC

We stayed at Park Hyatt for 2 nights. On our arrival our girl received a cute little panda as a gift, as it was our anniversary month, we were given a bottle of wine(though we don't drink alcohol, it was a nice gesture) and chocolates. As Hyatt diamond members we received an amazing upgrade to Park Executive Suite which ran upwards of 700$/night that weekend! Both the mornings we had expansive in room breakfast for free (Diamond benefits!). The hotel is very close (5 miles) to National Mall. We requested and got the privilege of late checkout (4pm) which enabled to fully use that day exploring the amazing museums.

The Park executive suite is huge (close to 1000 sqfeet) with a separated area/door for bedroom. Bedroom has an attached master bathroom stocked with high end toiletries. There is another half bath in the living room too! The decor is simple yet elegant.

This hotel has an attached resturaunt Blue Duck Tavern. There is also an Indian resturaunt Rasika just 0.5 mile away with excellent and exotic Indian food! We always wanted to experience staying at the Park Hyatt chain which is the luxury brand of Hyatt hotels. Having stayed in Waldorf astoria( Hilton luxury brand), Ritz Carlton and JW Marriott (Marriott luxury hotels) and Westin(Starwood semi luxury brand), our stay here at the Park Hyatt Washington DC was very satisfying and right up there with other luxurious stays! Overall, a highly recommended hotel in Washington DC.
