Top Things to Do in Switzerland

Our 8 nights and 8 days stay was barely enough to unmask the charm of Switzerland. Here is the list of things Travelasfamily did while in Switzerland. On arrival at the airport, we bought 2 Swiss passes (kids travel free) which was good for 8 days. All the train travel (expect to Kleine Scheidegg and Jungfrajauch) were free. So were all the busses within cities like Interlaken, Bern and Geneva along with any boat rides on numerous lakes. Swiss Pass also offers half prices and discounts to other major attractions of Switzerland. Out of our seven night stay here, the first 3 nights we stayed at Grindelwald, the next 2 at Interlaken and last 3 at Wengen. We chose to stay in the mountain towns more as they were secluded, less crowded and closer to the mountains. Some of the attractions like Jungfraujoch, Harder Kulm and Zermatt are heavily weather dependent so do check the present webcam status in above mentioned places before you decide to go ahead. Europe is a stark contrast to U.S.. food is a lot more important thing there :) excellent scenery and photographs. We were there a few years back ( Switzerland and Italy); cannot forget those moments.
